You might think I’m exaggerating his attractiveness. I’m not. Picture a handsome man. No, more handsome than that. Square that jawline, brush those brown curls with gold, darken those blue eyes till they’re almost black, deep sapphire pools made for mooning over. Deepen that voice till it’s like dark chocolate, and thread it through with a  sexy chameleon accent—one second so crisp and upper class it might almost be British, the second relaxing into long lazy vowels that conjured up visions of him kicking back beers on a sunny Australian beach, surfboard planted in the sand as he contemplated the rolling waves with a practiced eye. Strip away any hint of fat over that lean, muscular sailor’s physique; evenly tan his smooth skin until he’s a bronzed Adonis. 

For intrigue, add just a few scars on his powerful arms—sometimes a wide-eyed young intern might ask where he got them, and he’d flex his arms and tell a completely different story than he had the last time, each more improbable than the last. And whether it featured great white sharks, modern-day pirates, or a knife-throwing bet, that wide-eyed intern would swoon right into those arms, disappear at the end of the day into his limo, and moon around the office for a couple of weeks, constantly checking their phones for texts that never came, until they quit or until security had to boot them from the building for trying to ambush him outside of his office with pleading love notes and recriminations.   But I’ve gotten off-topic.

Back to your mental picture of a handsome man. Now picture that an entire team of crack tailors working night and day to create the perfect suit, cut to hang just right on his body, tight across shoulders you could build a house on and an ass that belonged in an underwear commercial. Imagine the world’s greatest stylists converging upon him with mousse and hairdryers until not a hair was out of place except the ones he intended to be, each chestnut lock artfully tousled for maximum effect.

And then he smirks.

Now freeze that perfect, sexy, infuriating bastard at that exact moment in time so that nothing ever musses him or ruffles his feathers or causes a single blip on the horizon of his life, and you’ve got Grant Devlin.

His lips were softer than I’d ever imagined, and I’d imagined them a lot. At least once a day since I turned thirteen, maybe more.

           I brought a hand up to touch his cheek gently, worried that too much movement on my part would bring him back to reality, and he’d pull away.

           I could taste beer on his breath, but I didn’t mind. He moved closer, his hand on my back drawing me in so our chests touched. I took a sharp breath at the contact, amazed at how good it felt.

           This was the first time I’d kissed, or touched another guy since that night with Brad at his party, but it was apples and oranges in comparison. With Craig I didn’t have one second of doubt, I knew I wanted his lips on mine, and            now that I’d had a taste, I didn’t know how I’d ever be able to go back to the way things used to be.

           I hoped he felt the same.

           “Can I touch you, Gwennie?” Craig asked, his hand at the hem of my t-shirt.

           His breath against my ear caused goosebumps to break out over my sensitive flesh.

           “Yes,” I responded, my voice barely a whisper.

           His hand was cool against my heated stomach and I shivered as he ran it up towards my breasts, which became heave in anticipation of his touch.

It’s really warm in here. I’m sweating. Why am I sweating? I move, or rather try to. I remember falling asleep in Kyle’s arms then I had this strange dream. Talon and Kyle were talking, they were talking about me. Sort of. God, it’s really hot in here.

I finally manage to open my eyes and I’m looking at a white t-shirt. Wait a minute. Kyle was wearing a black t-shirt last night. I pull back slightly and see Talon. Oh my god. How? When? Why? What? I squirm and bright blue eyes meet mine.

“Good morning, Red.”

“What are you gonna call me when my red hair fades to pink? Or I change the color?” I ask him and he laughs.

“Red, I think it fits, for now.” He winks.

“Good morning to you too. How did you get…?” I squirm again and there is a groan behind me and another set of arms wrap tighter around me. “Oh shit!” I squeal, then lift the covers. “Oh shit.” I’m still dressed. Talon is dressed and I turn toward the groan and it’s Kyle’s black t-shirt. “What the hell happened?” I say looking at Talon.

“I came up after the concert, talked to Kyle some and then climbed in and passed out.”

“What time is it?”

Talon lifts his head then groans, “It’s four thirty.”

“What time’s the bus leaving?”

“Seven.”

I still have to pack my stuff so I count the time. I have plenty. I look down my body and there are four arms down there. Two belong to me and one each belongs to my bed partners. I smile inwardly. It’s like a girl’s biggest fantasy come true.

I try and figure out how to untangle my limbs from them, especially Kyle. I don’t want to wake him and I don’t want Talon to have to get up too early. “Help?” I whine.

I feel his silent chuckle and I can’t help but smile too. “With?” he whispers in his sultry voice and my clit explodes with need.

“I have to go to the bathroom and I’m a little trapped.”

“Is that all?” I look at him and he wiggles his eyebrows and then ever so slightly and not at all subtly, flicks his hips against my hip and I let out a moan.

Sultry, seductive French music played in the background while I posed in different positions on the wide, four-poster, canopy bed. Sheer white curtains were draped on the black frame with large white pillows tossed haphazardly on the bed.

We'd been shooting for the past thirty minutes when the photographer, a tall, spindly guy with a ponytail, announced we were taking a break. He glanced at me, a frustrated look on his face. I heaved a breath, tossed aside the large pillow I'd been holding against my chest, and slid off the bed. This session had been a bust. From the moment Remington dropped me at Curves, my mind was in total chaos, and kept wandering back to the flowers and the person in a trench coat. Even the Chardonnay I'd been sipping to loosen me up hadn't worked.

I fluffed my hair, before grabbing a ribbon from a table and tying my hair as I walked toward one of the women who were assisting with the shoot.

"Thank you," I said, smiling, and took a white silk robe from her hand and slipped it on.

I caught sight of Remington, standing beside Grace, talking in low tones. His eyes were focused on me as I padded barefoot toward them.

"Hey, baby," I greeted him, pressing my lips to his cheek, but he moved his face so our mouths collided. One of his hands slid around my waist and pulled me to him. One thing I enjoyed about Remington was he wasn't shy about showing his affection in public. No one seemed to mind anyway.

By the time I pulled back, my body felt alive with this man's attention and kisses. I glanced at Grace to find her smiling hugely, giving me a thumbs-up, and fanning herself.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" Remington asked, his deep voice teasing the lust in me as his hand traced circles on my lower back, sending tingles down my spine.

"Um. . .yeah. Sure, I am."

He narrowed his eyes and I could imagine the wheels of his mind turning.

"This girl needs to relax. Let herself go," Grace said, waving her hand. "I have never seen you this nervous, Selene."

Remington's hand halted its soothing motions. "I just need a few minutes. I didn't think I would be this nervous, getting back into modeling."

"Please excuse us, Madame Dresner," Remington said, flashing Grace a smile.

Grace patted her flushed cheeks and I rolled my eyes at Remington's blatant use of charm. "Certainly, and please call me Grace."

"You're incorrigible, St. Germain," I said as he led me into the hallway, his arm a steel band of heat around my waist.

He grinned at me, hitting me with a smile more potent than he had given Grace. "The room," he murmured. I frowned up at him, wondering what he was talking about. "Your dressing room."

"Oh, yes. I need to freshen up a bit. . ."

"Not what I have in mind." He squeezed my butt to make his point.

"Oh!" My face heated at the suggestion. "So what do you have in mind?" I tossed a flirtatious smile over my shoulder as I opened the door, letting us in. He kicked it shut with his foot as soon as we were inside and swung around, pushing me against the door, and pressing his body against mine. He gripped my hips, pulling me to him.
