Excerpt
I head down the hall, and that man was right. I can’t miss the office door with Charles Masters, CEO in bold, white letters. When I knock, no one answers, so I let myself in to do as the man told me to do—leave it on the desk. As I enter, I’m taken aback by the sheer modern, fancy vibe of the room. Everything’s sleek. Rounded corners. Black, white, and gray. Little splashes of red in the form of his mouse pad, a painting, and the marbles in a clear vase on his desk. The brown of the package barely fits in with the color scheme, but the delivered box seems at home on his desk. Now that I’ve done my job, I should leave and get on with my day. Yes. Yes, I should do that. But I don’t. Curiosity wins out, and I walk behind the desk and sit in his chair—which isn’t a wingback chair, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a one-of-a-kind. Maybe it’s my plain taste, but I’ve never seen anything like it. Probably because I’ve never been in a situation like this. Surrounded by wealth, success, money. And that’s fine. Not having those things hasn’t diminished my happiness. I’m doing all right without them. My job is steady, I have amazing friends, and my heart isn’t broken. That being said, I could be…happier. But whatever. Everything happens for a reason, and good things come to those who wait. So I’ll keep waiting while everything keeps happening for reasons. I lean back in Charles Masters’s chair. I don’t know what comes over me, but I put my feet up on the desk too, crossing my legs at my ankles. Then I clasp my hands in my lap and wonder if this is what it feels like to have the world at my fingertips. A smile crosses my lips as I can see how someone can get used to this. And then a throat clears, which snaps me out of my reverie right quick. I jump out of the chair. Mostly because I don’t want to lose my job if this incident gets back to my boss. Getting caught is one thing; getting fired is another. “Can I help you?” Charles Masters himself asks me from the doorway of his office. His suit is neat, pressed, and just as sleek as his office. Black pants, black jacket, white shirt, black tie. Crisp and clean. And it makes him way sexier than I thought it would when I saw pictures of him in the news.

Synopsis
Three centuries ago, Molly Darling’s ancestors signed a contract in blood—daemon blood—to protect themselves from harm. On the eve she turns nineteen, Molly leaves for her birthday party against her parent’s wishes, sick of their warnings about her “betrothal to a demon.” Except that she’s very much betrothed, and he’s very much a demon—one who’s only agreed to the nuptials to steal Molly’s ancient daemon powers. Brash, arrogant, and built like a Greek god, Tensley Knight keeps showing up to save Molly from otherworldly attacks, only to insult her a moment later. As Molly learns more about the demon world, she realizes two things: that her family’s safety depends on a successful marriage, while any chance of freedom she’ll ever have calls for Tensley’s demise. Yet sometimes Molly spots a tortured soul beyond those liquid grey eyes, and there’s no denying the way her skin tingles when Tensley touches it. In Vein of Love, safety requires sacrifice, foe becomes lover, and one must decide whether to kiss…or to kill.

Excerpt
Before Molly sat down, she rolled off her trench coat, and he groaned when he saw her dress. The black satin hugged her curves, flaring mid-thigh, and the sweetheart neckline plunged dangerously low, exposing her supple breasts; she was a walking threat to his every fucking cell. He painfully cleared his throat, begging himself for composure, and angrily sat down, fingers restlessly tapping against his thigh. He readjusted himself beneath his pants. Keep your distance. You’re dangerous to me. All he had to do was remember his brother’s vicious face and heavy fist from years ago, all caused by that human seductress, and he collected any softness, any kindness in him and replaced it with an icy detachment.

EXCERPT:
Jesus Christ, was she trying to kill me? I’d been here for hours and as if the sight of Jackie in her cute sundress wasn’t enough, I’d had to spend the past hour watching her bounce around the pool while a group played volleyball. The chocolate brown bikini she was wearing clung to her firm figure and left little to the imagination. She’d pulled her dark hair up into a messy bun and the green in her eyes seemed even more prominent than usual because of the sun she’d gotten on her face earlier.
“Jamie, why don’t you join us?” Ben yelled across to me from the pool. “Patterson has to get back to the Mrs., and we need someone to sub in.”
I’d brought my suit since the invite referred to the event as a retirement/pool party. Getting a closer view of Jackie in that flimsy scrap of fabric she called a swimsuit wouldn’t hurt either.
“Give me a minute, and I’ll go change,” I shouted back.
Jackie’s lips formed a thin line, as if she didn’t approve of my joining their little game, which only made it that much sweeter for me. The sexual tension that had been thrumming between us had me wanting to get under her skin. I figured if I couldn’t touch it, I could get under it at the very least.
But by the time I made my way over to the pool, the game had changed and the guys were now playing with the women hoisted up on their shoulders. I felt a grin forming on my face. This ought to be fun. My gut tightened when I saw Jackie’s tanned legs wrapped around the shoulders of the guy she’d left me to go speak to earlier. They certainly seemed cozy with one another. What was the deal with those two?
I mentally shook it off. I had no claim to her. Jackie could do what she wanted. As could I.
I politely pushed my way through the crowd on the patio area and caught Jackie’s eye a moment before I reached the pool. I grinned with satisfaction when I noticed her gaze dart down the expanse of my chest and back up. When she caught me looking at her perusal of my assets, her eyes flared for a second and then morphed into an expression that reminded me of a child who’d been caught doing something wrong.
I chuckled and dove into the pool. “Okay, what are we playing?” I asked once I surfaced.
“Jamie, you get Sylvia on your shoulders,” Ben said.
I glanced over at the blond waiting in the corner of the pool. She gave me a coy smile. I didn’t know who Sylvia was, but I smiled warmly and introduced myself.
“I’m Jamie. Good to meet you.” I held my hand out for her.
She giggled for a second, then shook it. “Sylvia, pleasure. I’m glad you decided to join us.”
Someone made a disgusted sound behind me. “Are you guys going to ogle each other all afternoon or are we going to play?” It was Jackie, and she sounded irritated. If I didn’t know better, I would’ve guessed jealous.
I turned to face her, almost laughing. She looked pouty with her hands crossed over her chest and a scowl on her face.
“Hold up there, princess. Give us a minute.” I grinned, knowing my comment would antagonize her further.
She made another sound of frustration and uncrossed her arms.
“You ready to kick their ass?” I asked Sylvia.
“Definitely!” She flipped her platinum hair behind her shoulder and smiled.
I swam down under the water where Sylvia had widened her stance and put my head between her legs, rising up out of the water so that her thighs rested on my shoulders. When I came up out of the water, I saw Jackie bending down as best she could and whispering into her partner’s ear. The guy whose shoulders she was on patted her leg and nodded. My jaw clenched at the sight of his hand on her thigh.
“Alright. Three points until match. You all set?” the guy who was acting as referee shouted.
Everyone on both sides nodded, and I spread apart from my other teammates to cover the most ground. As I watched the muscles in Jackie’s thighs clench around the other guy’s neck, I vowed that I, too, would have my head between Jackie’s legs before the night was over.

***Book Blitz*** Making Bad Choices By Rita Stradling

Making Bad Choices
Rita Stradling
Publication date: January 10th 2017
Genres: New Adult, Romance
[Recommended 16 + this is a mature YA or New Adult book]
Watch the Book Trailer: Here
Culter Fuller came back into my life on the day my mother died, as if losing my mother wasn’t bad enough.
We hated each other since childhood. Well, I hated him. He had a very different story.
When I moved to my dad’s house to finish my last semester of high school, we went from bitter enemies to. . . something else. He was suddenly everywhere, occupying my space, determined to pull me into his life, filling me with thoughts I knew were wrong.
I knew that soon we would cross a line that should never be crossed.
I knew crossing that line could have very serious consequences; because Culter Fuller wasn’t just any irresistible boy, Culter Fuller was my stepbrother.
But, I was always very bad at making the right choices.
EXCERPT:
“If I think you might disappear on me, I’ll just be thinking about that all night, and I don’t want to have to deal with that shit. Just not worth going for me,” Culter said.
Wow, he made me feel like I was his odious chore, that was nice. I found it ridiculous that he was giving me a hard time about going off with people.
“Just go do your thing, Culter, I’ll be fine.” I might have put a fair dose of insinuation into my words, but the whole conversation was bugging me. I stood, gathering my makeup from the floor as I did.
“What’s my thing?”
“Like I know,” I mumbled.
“Sounds like you think you know,” he said. He stood too, stepping a little closer.
“It doesn’t matter.” I threw my stuff onto my bed.
He stepped in even closer, way too close, and smirked down at me. “Come on, I want to know. What’s my thing, Cassie?”
I licked my lips, before saying, “Threesomes.”
His smirk only grew. “Is that your thing, too?”
“What do you think?” I rolled my eyes, but I felt embarrassed.
He looked like he was going to laugh at me. “I’m not going to Spencer’s party for a threesome.”
“I wasn’t saying that.” I felt my face flushing as I talked to him and I wanted to step away, but at the same time, I didn’t.
He reached up and wound a lock of my hair around his finger. “That was my first threesome, and it wasn’t really one. And it wasn’t my thing. Spooning later, though, that was my thing.”
I looked up into his blue gaze, wondering if he was saying what I thought he was saying. Or had he spooned those girls? I looked away, deciding that I didn’t want to know. Well, I wanted to know, but I shouldn’t know. I was all tangled up in my thoughts, thoughts I shouldn’t even be having in the first place.
Culter’s phone rang, puncturing the tension building between us, and I was very glad for it. Culter flirted as easily as he breathed, and I had to remember that. I had to constantly remind myself of that. I liked flirting, but this didn’t feel just like innocent flirting, this felt dangerous.
I stepped away, grabbing his phone off the floor and handing it to him. Looking at the screen, I said, “It’s Spencer.” Then I walked out and left him alone in my bedroom.
