Rhapsody Of The Stars by Jannat Bhat

Kairo is here and setting the stage on fire! 🔥

As part of the release celebrations, I'm thrilled to share a small glimpse into the life of this musician and his muse.🎻

"Keeping my face carefully blank, I turn slowly in my seat to see Chase Knight making his way toward us. He looked the same as if the years that had passed hadn’t dared to touch him. He pulls a chair and sits right next to me while I continue to stare at the doorway, waiting for him to make an appearance any second. “Aria, it’s a pleasure seeing you again, too. You girls look good.”
If Aria responds to Chase, it falls on deaf ears since I couldn’t hear a thing except the blood roaring through my veins.
“And you, how have you been, Sophia?”
I don’t answer as I sit still and watch the empty doorway, my heart hammering in my chest. I couldn’t believe even after so many years, he could affect me this way, and he wasn’t even here yet. A minute passed, but he didn’t show. And then another, and he still didn’t arrive. There was an eerie silence in the room when I turned to Chase, who was watching me intently, a question clear on my face.
“He’s not here,” Chase says quietly and puts me out of my misery.
I wasn’t sure if I was relieved or disappointed that he hadn’t come. I let out the breath I had held and closed my eyes. I was suddenly very unsettled.
I hear Aria shift in her seat and ask stiffly, “What are you doing here, Mr. Knight? This is a private meeting.”
“I’m here for the same reason you are, Ms. Monroe,” Chase says.
“To discuss the act for Regency Square.”
“Discuss the act for…is Kairo Knight the performer you want Sophia to share her act with?” I could hear the shock in Aria’s voice as she connected the dots and stared at Ramone in disbelief.
I opened my eyes and tried to calm my heart which had started to beat a mile a minute at the revelation.
“Well, yes,” Ramone confirms hesitantly, not knowing what to make of Aria’s reaction to the news.
“But why would you want that?” Aria asks. “Sophia is doing well on her own, and I’m sure Kairo is too. Why put them on stage together? If I’m right, Kairo is performing at Trafalgar Hall as per the news agencies, and that’s under your company too. You’re getting both Kairo and Sophia, just at different venues.”
“My dear Aria,” Ramone says, leaning forward. “Yes, Sophia is doing magnificently on her own, and Kairo is doing remarkably well, but it is not individuality that I’m talking about here. It’s what they can do together. Just imagine, they are both young and beautiful, successful and single. And when they perform together, their chemistry will be explosive! It will be the rhapsody of the stars. This performance will go down in history. The fans are just going to love them together.” The eagerness with which Ramone spoke made me feel sick. Kairo and me together?
No.
I couldn’t do it.
I won't do it. I just won't."
